Following the recent destruction in Puerto Rico, Florida, and the surrounding areas caused by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian, The Madison Rotary Club is proud to donate $1,000 to World Central Kitchen (WCK) in support of their immediate relief efforts feeding those in need. World Central Kitchen, led by chef José Andrés, started with a simple idea:  When people are hungry, send in cooks. Not tomorrow, today. Wherever there is a need, the WCK team is often first to the frontlines, providing hot fresh meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. “As part of Madison Rotary’s mission to fight food insecurity we looked for ways to quickly assist our friends in the South. With WCK’s experience and existing teams already on the ground, supporting them directly seemed a sensible choice”, said President Doug Willis.  To learn more about World Central Kitchen, click here.
